Andrew Smith is a Mining Engineer-in-Training with diverse Mining Engineering experience at Kidd Mine, Holt Mine, Taylor Mine, and the Dome Mine. This production experience serves as a foundation for his role as Operations Coordinator for Dumas Mining. Andrew is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and Dalhousie University with a Diploma of Engineering and a Bachelors in Mining Engineering respectively. Andrew enjoys extensive volunteering and growth with the CIM Porcupine Branch since 2011.
As a striving young mining leader in the Timmins community, Kyle Buckoll brings a diverse mining resume of project management, front line supervision and technical engineering experience to his role as Chairman of the CIM Porcupine Branch. Kyle has worked across the country in various mining operations including base metal, uranium and potash mining. Kyle enjoys playing hockey, basketball, snowboarding and taking time for family walks.
Josh was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario and after completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa he returned to the Timmins area where he is currently working at the Kidd Operations Concentrator as a Process EIT. Josh joined the Porcupine Branch in 2012 as a Director and moved into his current role as Treasurer in 2013. Josh is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, and camping.

Ken Stewart is NORCAT'S Manager of Training and Development for Northern Ontario. Ken is focused on the delivery of health and safety programs and developing regulatory frameworks for many of the world's leading mining companies operating in Ontario. Prior to NORCAT, Ken was employed with Barrick Gold holding a variety of senior roles. He served as Barrick's Operational Effectiveness Superintendent where he managed all procurement, business improvement, health and safety training.
